Stretching has been one of the mainstays of health and fitness for many years, but recently it has been the subject of a little controversy. Should or shouldn`t stretch. Most runners will stretch before and after a run, however we should not really stretch a cold muscle and I have never met anyone who will run for 10mins stop in the street, carry out a stretching routine and then carry on running.
